With the blistering heat during the days, nightlife in Vegas is so much more appealing. There tons of options from clubs, shows, and other night time activities to keep a Naturalista busy until the wee hours of the morning. What I really love about Vegas is there is so many free activities to chose from each night.
Ok, so Freemont Street also known as “Old Vegas” is known for mobsters and some of the greatest performances from early Vegas performaners. The Freemont Street Experience really speaks to the essence of Vegas origins. So, it was not a surprise that Freemont Street has free live performances from artist and the light show pays homage to the 70’s. It was Psychedelic baby (in my Austin Powers Voice).
With so many club options, it was hard to chose where to spend our evenings. VIP guest list is always the best option!!! First stop 1-OAK located in the Mirage Hotel, if you are looking for contemporary and Hip-Hop music this is the place. They played a good mix of music, and we danced all night, and morning!!
We also checked out The Light Night Club at Mandalay Bay. The Light played more Techno music, but was still a good time.
This trip with so many people, we had a lot of activities planned. One of the shows we saw was Hitzville at the V Theater located at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. I have to say it was pretty good. Hitzville paid homage to some of the Motown greats from Diana Ross to the Temptations.
Vegas really lives up to its nickname as the “Entertainment capital of the world” there is always something to do, even just walking the strip. We had plenty of fun on the strip taking in activities at each of the hotels.
